The effects of sex addiction are far reaching and impact the lives of many. It can destroy individuals, families, finances and reputations. As is the case with all addiction, treatment is long and arduous, but necessary if people’s lives and
relationships are to be restored.

It’s more important now than ever for clinicians to become aware of the genesis and escalation of sex addiction over time. Treatment options are available but need to be carefully studied and skillfully applied.
