I feel very blessed and honored to wake up each day and do the work that I do.  I am truly humbled to be of service to people that come to counseling.  Honestly, they are some of the most courageous individuals I know because they are willing to face their problems, explore their vulnerabilities and embrace change.  They inspire me and are living testaments to the idea that humans can and do change.  Presently, I am the Clinical Director of Life Counseling Center in Nampa, ID and specialize in children, adolescents and adults with a variety of issues and concerns such as depression, bipolar, and obsessive-compulsive disorder; to name a few.  I completed my Bachelor degrees in Psychology and Spanish at Montana State University-Bozeman and I completed my Masters of Art and Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degrees at the University of Denver. 

I did my clinical internship/residency at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Hospital in Salt Lake City.  Prior to that, I worked for several years in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The Childrens  Hospital in Denver, CO and the University of Denver Learning Disorders and Neuropsychology Clinic.  I also worked as a bilingual counselor at el Centro de la Familias (The Center for Families) which is affiliated with the Mental Health Corporation of Denver (MHCD).
